Biography

Helping people on the path of healing and recovery from Eating Disorders and Trauma has been a passion for Stephanie. She has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University, Los Angeles. She has 8 years of experience working in the mental health field and has worked in many different settings including higher levels of care. Stephanie spent two years at Center for Discovery working in both residential and PHP/IOP settings with adults and adolescents struggling with different types of Eating Disorders. During her time there she ran many groups including Body Acceptance, Meal Exposure, and DBT skills.

Stephanie continues to educate herself in the field of Eating Disorders by attending workshops and trainings. She is also a member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP), and in the process of finishing the requirements to become a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist through the IAEDP. Stephanie believes that support is key to recovery and hopes she can be a part of that support system on the journey toward recovery.
