Biography
I have worked in the field for over 20 years, and I earned my PsyD from California School of Professional Psychology in 2006. I have worked with clients ranging from preschool children to older adults, in schools, colleges, Kaiser (where I completed my postdoctoral residency), and worked for many years at Napa State Hospital. In my other work, I am a forensic psychologist and a court-appointed expert in adult criminal matters. I also work for the state conducting pre-employment assessments for law enforcement candidates. My areas of clinical interest have been human-animal relationships and the use of pets in the therapeutic setting, working with the LGBTQ community, trauma and recovery, and multicultural issues. I am excited to join Auburn Davis SBT to help empower people to become skilled in handling difficult emotions and successfully managing life’s challenges.
