Patrick Yamamoto  is an MFT Intern under the expert supervision of Dr. Susan Landes.  He was a middle school teacher for 10 years before becoming a therapist.  Patrick enjoyed teaching English and Science, but transitioned to the mental health field in search of greater challenges and rewards.
Patrick has been trained and has been practicing DBT for over two years.  Not only does he utilize DBT as a therapeutic modality, but he incorporates it into his own daily living.  He uses mindfulness, meditation, and awareness in both his professional and personal life.
When Patrick is not busy at the Auburn-Davis DBT center, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching NBA basketball, reading Russian literature, coaching youth soccer, and working on his sleep hygiene.
